Having her son at the very beginning of the pandemic reignited her passion for family care and led her to train with DONA International as a birth doula.  Each pregnancy and birth story is unique, and Jordyn is prepared to support, listen to, and nurture the families she works to empower. 

Ryleigh is a certified Birth Doula at Gold Coast Doulas, located in Grand Rapids, MI. Ryleigh believes that after having two total opposite births of her own, and a loss in-between, there is no right way to get a baby earth side, and will support each and every family as they desire. She will be your listening ear, snack runner, cheerleader, and gentle presence to depend on during your birth. Women can do far more than society gives them credit for, and she is here to educate and empower women as they become the mother they were built to be.

Annette is a registered nurse and certified Birth Doula at Gold Coast Doulas, located in Grand Rapids, MI. She has had a keen interest in birth for many years and spent time working in Obstetrics as an RN. Assisting women and their partners by providing the comfort, knowledge and support necessary to achieve the birth experience they desire is a great privilege and she is very grateful for this with each and every birth. She is excited to provide information, care, calm and reassurance to all laboring women so they achieve the feeling that this birth was designed for them, and it was just as it was supposed to be.

Lisa is a certified Birth Doula and Hypnobirthing Practitioner at Gold Coast Doulas, located in Grand Rapids, MI. She believes that each birth experience is unique and wants to empower women to feel safe, secure, and in control so that they can make the choices and decisions right for them. Jackie is a Certified Pediatric Sleep Consultant, parent wellness advocate, and (once sleep-deprived) mother of two littles. Jackie provides help to families remotely all across the country through Gold Coast Doulas, and is extremely passionate about empowering parents through some of the toughest transitions of life.

Michelle is a certified Sleep Consultant at Gold Coast Doulas, located in Grand Rapids, MI. She is passionate about sleep as the foundation of health. She has seen first-hand how important sleep is for the child’s development, happiness, and health. Michelle understands that sleep is a learned skill, and expertly guides parents toward realistic and age-appropriate results.

Aubri is a certified Bed Rest and Postpartum & Infant Care Doula at Gold Coast Doulas, located in Grand Rapids, MI. Aubri is passionate in her life about loving people, caring for those around her and pursuing the idea of perpetual growth. She wants to take the idea of “love, care and grow” where she would love each client as they are, care for their needs and help families grow in the goals they have. Her focus is on helping the new mother regain her strength while bonding with her new baby and coping with the new addition. Jade loves tuning into each family to assess the kind of nurture and support that will serve them best in the fourth trimester, whether that’s breastfeeding help, household support, or a compassionate listening ear. Krista is a certified Bed Rest and Postpartum & Infant Care Doula at Gold Coast Doulas, located in Grand Rapids, MI. Krista has spent much of her life with children. She has worked in daycare centers, preschools, as a nanny, and a kindergarten, Y5’s, and first grade teacher. Her love of little people and the joy she received from the families she helped, helped her decide to pursue a career in the doula world. 

Sarah is a certified Newborn Care Specialist and Postpartum Doula at Gold Coast Doulas, located in Grand Rapids, MI. She has worked in several roles in the field of Early Childhood Education over the years, and the varying roles working with children and families over the years has allowed Sarah to work with a very diverse group of people. Sarah’s calm and nurturing demeanor helps to set families and young ones at ease.
