Krystal Rosalez, LCSW

Krystal is a licensed clinical social worker at Nurture Therapy, providing online therapy services throughout Illinois. Her areas of focus include transitioning to motherhood, perinatal anxiety and depression, high-risk medical/NICU, life transitions/stressors, and cultural-sensitivity.

After practicing in an inpatient hospital setting for over ten years, Krystal has accumulated valuable medical knowledge and insight to advocate and support her patients through pregnancy and birth.

She recognizes the positive impact of support systems, and is honored to provide women with the tools and awareness needed to overcome challenges experiences in the pregnancy and parenting journey.

Patrice Whitfield, LCPC

Patrice is a licensed clinical professional counselor at Nurture Therapy, providing in-person and online therapy services throughout Illinois. Her areas of focus include transitioning to motherhood, perinatal anxiety and depression, adjustment issues, life transitions/stressors, mental performance, sports psychology, trauma, and LGBTQIA+.

Patrice is passionate about empowering youth, adults, and families to uncover their strengths and inherent tools to thrive. With a background in sports psychology, Patrice helps her clients work through performance-based anxieties and the pressure from high-level performance. She equips her clients with coping skills and mental tools not only for their birthing and delivery experience, but to assist with all that comes with the early parenting journey.

Molly Rosenberg, LCSW

Molly is a licensed clinical social worker at Nurture Therapy, providing in-person therapy services at the Chicago office, and online throughout Illinois and Minnesota. Her areas of focus include transitioning to motherhood, perinatal anxiety and depression, grief/loss, fertility challenges, gender non-confirming, and LGBTQIA+.

Molly creates a warm and safe environment for her clients to experience the collaborative process of therapy. Change in any capacity can result in a range of emotions. Molly intends to normalize her clients’ experience, and provide tools and strategies that are effective for managing symptoms and healing from major life transitions.

Liz Zaragoza, LCSW, PMH-C

Liz is a licensed clinical social worker and certified perinatal mental health provider at Nurture Therapy. She provides in-person and online therapy services throughout Illinois. Her areas of focus include transitioning to motherhood, perinatal anxiety and depression, high-risk pregnancies, pregnancy loss, grief/loss, chronic illness, and couples support.

With experience working as a perinatal social worker in both inpatient and outpatient healthcare settings, Liz developed a deep passion for supporting individuals and families during the reproductive journey. She prioritizes her clients feeling heard, and works collaboratively to create goals, recognize existing strengths, and develop new skills to cope with unexpected emotions and experiences.

Cindy Rubin, MD, IBCLC

Cindy is a board-certified General Pediatrician, Breast/Chest Feeding, and Lactation Medicine Physician. She practices as a solo physician at In Touch Pediatrics and Lactation, where she proves physician management of complicated or complex lactation-related conditions as part of a lactating person’s care team.

Cindy offers in-home 4th Trimester Packages. These packages include postpartum newborn pediatric care as well as maternal/parental support for lactation, mental health, and other needs or challenges that arise.

She loves providing care in patients’ homes, when and where they need it most! She is deeply invested in changing the narrative of perinatal women’s and infant health in the United States. Cindy works to ensure that everyone has access to necessary supports regardless of the color of their skin, gender identity, sexual preferences, or income.  

Ebony Johnson

Ebony is a certified Postpartum Doula at Birthways, Inc., providing daytime and overnight support for families in the greater Chicago area. Ebony is a certified full-spectrum traditional birth worker with intention to become a midwife.

With kindness and a nonjudgmental approach, Ebony is dedicated to providing personalized, holistic postpartum care that is focused on both maternal and infant wellbeing. Ebony is happy to share her expertise in West African traditional belly binding, baby soothing techniques, sleep training, self care, meal preparation, and more!

I wholeheartedly believe that the work of a birth worker is truly divine. It brings me immense joy to witness the incredible transformations and the abundant love that surrounds the miracle of birth.

Rachael Wilder

Rachael is a certified and experienced massage therapist in St. Paul, Minnesota. She has completed nearly 800 hours of formal training and education at Lauterstein-Conway Massage School, along with an impressive list of additional trainings below.

Rachael specializes in abdominal work, utilizing her training in Arvigo Abdominal Massage, used to address physical and energetic-emotional health. Highly skilled, Rachael looks forward to discussing how she can assist you in feeling your best!

Emylee Shultz

Emylee is a Labor Support and Postpartum Doula at Birthways, Inc., serving the greater Chicago area. Her passion for doula work was truly awoken from her own pregnancy and postpartum experience. She believes the new normal for postpartum families includes support, resources, and rest, and she is honored to be part of that reality.

Emylee supports families during this transitional phase in their lives, helping to lay the postpartum foundation that leads to better outcomes for the entire family unit. In pursuit of obtaining her BSN, Emylee continues supporting local families during the postpartum period with a holistic approach to care.

Joy Yama

Joy is a Labor Support and Postpartum Doula at Birthways, Inc., serving the greater Chicago area. Joy has extensive experience with infants and children, as well as supporting mothers through labor and the postpartum period. Joy is passionate about coaching women through labor and supporting mothers learn to breastfeed, care for their body after birth, and build confidence in caring for their newborn.

In addition to doula work, Joy owns a licensed home daycare business. Joy is honored to be a listening ear, wealth of knowledge for new parents, and an overall support during the labor and postpartum period. Doula work brings Joy peace and happiness, as she understands the love and help needed through the journey of early parenthood.

It is my passion to help mothers feel safe, loved, and most of all to get through that tough time before and after labor. It is my passion to be there for families that need my help and to respect their home culture, doing what they need to feel safe, confident, and rested to get their body and mind back.

Nadia Ori

Nadia Ori is a Doctor of Physical Therapy specializing in perinatal and pelvic floor physical therapy at New Journey Physical Therapy, located in Highland Park, IL. Nadia is passionate about helping women through the physical changes of their lives, as no woman should have to live with pain or incontinence.

She holds a Certificate of Achievement in Pelvic Physical Therapy-Obstetrics. She specializes in treating people who are pregnant with pain, such as low back pain, sacroiliac dysfunction, pelvic pain, and pubic symphysis pain.

Nadia believes that through manual therapy, exercise, body mechanics training, and lifestyle modifications, expectant mothers can experience a more enjoyable and comfortable pregnancy. Nadia will also recommend labor and delivery positions that will ease symptoms and decrease stress on the pelvis and surrounding musculature. She believes that with individualized physical therapy women can achieve their physical goals and live a life without limitations.
